Critical illness and injury are leading causes of death and disability world-wide. Research networks in a number of countries have addresses the specific needs of this patient community and the health care workers that serve it. These collaborators work to answer research questions pertinent to: Cost-effective care, promoting clinical research, applying new data to improve clinical research, applying new data to improve outcomes for patients across the developmental continuum, and fostering effective partnerships between federal agencies, academia, community practitioners and industry.

Strategic Results, in collaboration with the Trials Group, successfully combined structured lectures with panel and small group discussion to facilitate communication and help link new scientific knowledge with practice.
