Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (Summary of Presentation)

Professor Hoeper is a faculty member at Hanover Medical School, where he specialises in respiratory medicine and is also Senior Physician in the Department of Pneumology. He is in charge of the pulmonary hypertension programme and clinical director of the medical intensive care unit.

His main scientific interest lays in the field of pulmonary hypertension, where he has published more than 80 papers, many of them in leading journals including the New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, Circulation and the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. In addition, Professor Hoeper serves as regular reviewer for many major medical journals in the field and is a member of the editorial board of the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine and an associate editor for the European Respiratory Journal.
