The National Institutes of Health is pleased to invite you to our meeting on the Evolution of Pulmonary Hypertension: Emerging Diseases and Novel Therapeutics, December 7-8, 2006, in Bethesda, Maryland.

This conference will bring together leading thinkers in the field to review current understanding of the pathobiology, pathogenesis, and therapy of pulmonary hypertension (PH). Presentations include the following topics:

Our goals for this conference are threefold: to provide a forum to present new concepts in basic, translational, and clinical pulmonary hypertension research; to promote scientific exchange of ideas; and, ultimately, to foster research collaboration.

We are grateful for the generous funding of this meeting by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute; the National Institutes of Health’s Office of Rare Diseases, Office of the Director; Critical Care Medicine Department, Clinical Center; and the Clinical Center Bench-to-Bedside Awards.
