His major interest is the formation and transport of S-nitrosothiols, and NO/hemeprotein interactions in human pathology. He is the recipient of several Young Investigator awards, has published more than 70 original papers and numerous book chapters, and sits on the editorial board of Free Radical Biology and Medicine.
