Call for Abstracts
Deadline extended! The new deadline for submission is Wednesday October 3, 2007, 5:00 pm EDT.
The Organizing Committee invites you to submit an abstract of your scientific
research to be considered for presentation during the meeting. The deadline
for submission has been extended to Wednesday, October 3, 2007. Notice of acceptance
will be sent to authors by Thursday, October 18, 2007.
Please note that ownership of abstracts and posters remains with the author(s). Simultaneous submissions of abstracts and posters to NIH and to other organizations/meetings are also permitted.
Symposium Awards
Abstract Travel Award: $400 ($600 international) The Abstract
Program Committee will select the recipients based on outstanding
scientific research.
Oral Podium Presentation: Eight submitted abstracts will be honored for a featured oral presentation.
Peer Review: Poster presentations will be judged by symposium attendees, resulting in cash awards for the top winners

Types of Abstract Presentation
Oral Podium Presentations: Eight submitted abstracts will be honored for a featured oral podium presentation. Oral presentations will be November 14, 2007
Poster Presentation: Poster presentations give authors the opportunity to acquaint
attendees and experts in the field with the fundamentals of their abstract
and research. Presenting authors are to be present at their poster boards during
the manned poster session on November 14, 2007. Posters display size is 4(h)
feet by 6 (w) feet (1.2 meters by 1.8 meters).
