Marti Jett, PhD, is Chief, Department of Molecular Pathology at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) in Silver Spring, MD. She is also adjunct professor in the Department of Chemistry at Georgetown University and has a similar association with Howard University Cancer Center. She is the co-director of student internship programs at WRAIR (~300 students per year at various levels of education). She has served on NIH grant review committees, and SBIR evaluation committees. Her research on host gene expression to infectious diseases and biological threat pathogenic agents is funded by DTRA, DARPA, DoD and NIH.
